Thank you so much to everyone who has taken the time to read The Younglings, I truly appreciate everyone who has left a review!
Here are just a few of those reviews from readers across the world who have loved following Quinn and Eve's story!

I’ve really loved reading the first instalment of this series. This story is funny, action packed, fast paced and really easy to read. The writing flows really well and the world building is spot on. The storyline was really intriguing and kept my attention throughout. I absolutely flew through reading it, I just couldn’t put it down. Some of my favourite scenes were between Quinn and his father and I loved that the book was written from Quinn’s POV. Overall a witty, funny supernatural read that I really recommend and the perfect read for spooky season.

Quinn Carter is trying to balance his dual nature. Learning his estranged father is a demon king, the half-human teen struggles with unrequited love for his best friend, emerging super-freaky abilities, and a volatile temper. And after discovering a gift for seeing ghosts and meeting a supernatural team of protectors, he’s plunged into a nightmare when vampire hunters attack.
I actually read this book the beginning of last year but I thought it would be perfect time to reread alongside Fire & Magic ready for joining @ along on their Mayhem & Magic book tour soon! This book takes me back to my teenage fantasy era and I am here for that! Vampires, ghost, demons, angels you name it! It is a YA book so the fantasy aspect needs to be taken into considered on the age audience for what you get out of this book. I loved each characters (Eloise being my favourite), their challenge and the development of friendships. This book also has some mild romance between best friends which is super sweet and I can’t wait to see where the other books take that storyline.

I had the privilege of beta-reading Helena M Craggs’ debut novel The Younglings and, let me tell you – I loved this book!
The Younglings is a really funny, sassy, exciting, emotional story that I think will appeal to readers of all ages. Helena has a natural flair for writing and it was a joy to read her first novel.
Quinn is a brilliantly cultivated main character. The way he tells his story is really engaging and he is a relatable character and hero – I wanted to keep reading right from the get-go to see him come out on top, and to watch him grow up and adjust to life with his new supernatural abilities. It is testament to Helena’s skill as an author that she has created such strong characters, and by the end of the first chapter I felt completely embedded in the story world and excited to read on!
Helena brilliantly balances some really tender, romantic moments with those where you’re laughing out loud – she’s managed to weave so many different and complex emotions into the exciting paranormal adventures, there really never is a dull moment.
All in all Helena has written a brilliant story with truly engaging and well-written characters – she has a truly distinctive writers voice and I can’t wait for the next instalment!

You may all recognise this series and author as I've already read and reviewed books 2 and 3 over the last few months.
Sadly, I missed the original tour for this, book 1 and after absolutely loving the other 2 books - I raced out to buy it quick!!
Finally, I can say that I've enjoyed the beginning!
It was a little strange skipping back to the start having seen the characters develop so much over books 2&3 - but I still got that same excited feeling diving into this one! It was great to see where they all began and how their freindships formed.
The characters just jump straight off the page and you can't help but love every one of them. They are just so relatable and I love that although they're off saving the world, they're also struggling with growing up and the usual relationship and school issues that go along with this age group.
With so much crammed into this, you'd think it might get confusing - but it absolutely works so well!
This series has it all - witches, vampires, angels, demons, wolves and ghosts and a plot that will sweep you along at such a pace that it'll be over so fast!
It will leave you wanting more!
I'd recommend buying all 3 books and binging them (like I'm about to do, as I just have to re-read books 2&3 again now) you won't regret it! - although that will leave me desperate again to find out what happens in the finale in book 4!! Can't wait!!!

The Younglings: Fire and Magic book 2 was fantastic and I loved how it dived in giving a little recap of book 1. Just like Shadow and Magic, once I started I could not stop, this novel has a choke hold on you - in a good way!
I loved how even though this is book two we still have character development and world building, though the storyline is heavy. It gives you the feeling something epic is gonna be coming along.
I still love our main characters Quinn and Eve, but I really like Millie. I feel like she's grown and come along way since the first book

I love these books and H. Craggs didn't disappoint! The story picks up right where The Younglings, Shadows and Magic, ended. There's lots of adventure and action in this book, but also the love story between Eve and Quinn continues. This book is a page turner, with the characteristic witty writing and funny lines we already found in the first one. Also, whenever I picked it up I ended up staying much later than I intended to, because it keeps you wanting to know what is going to happen next. There are ghosts, vampires, shifters and demons, just like in the previous one. If the first book was great, I'd say this one is even better. A great sequel, which left me wanting to read the next one.

Noooooo I cannot believe that it is time to say goodbye to The Younglings. It is with very mixed emotions of sadness, excitement, trepidation and denial. I still hope that one day in the future they will return.
So does this book deliver like the previous three books....hell yes, this has everything and more. I always love returning to see what the gang is up to and seeing how they survive the previous cliffhanger. Even though this is the last book, the author does not let the reader off lightly. The pace never lets go there is tension, action, romance aplenty and as always the paranormal threat is higher than ever. These characters even the side characters all bring so much and nobody ever feels like a wasted character. Just another character to love or hate.
This book also provides such wonderful, positive representation of the lgbtq community.
This series as I have always said is perfect for fans of Buffy/ Angel/ Vampire Diaries and I really do think The Younglings needs to be commissioned into a tv series. It just screams read, me watch me.
Thanks for bringing us an amazing series Helena and I look forward to seeing what you bring us next.
I also want to thank you for your kindness and thoughtfulness not just with all the goodies you have provided but also with you just checking up and seeing how I am doing. I wish you every success with your next series and for everyone go follow this author and check out her books. She won't disappoint.
Scroll across to the second picture to see all four books together and picture three well view that at your own risk....it is my reaction to finishing this book.

In the fourth and final instalment in The Younglings series Quinn and Co are back facing further threats in the form of Fae and a Greek Demigod who have infiltrated the mortal world. But these aren’t the only threat The Younglings will face. There is an ongoing threat that has The Younglings in their sights but in particular one person. Can The Younglings defeat the threat before it tears the team apart?
As a big fan of this series I couldn’t wait to read the next book which also happens to be the final book. I didn’t get the chance to reread the series before picking up this book but I did read the last few chapters of the previous book just to familiarise myself with what happened and where all the characters were.
This was a brilliant instalment and what I would describe as a finale book that packed a punch. The Younglings have dealt with a lot of supernatural forces but in this book they get more than they bargained for including the threat that was identified at the end of the third book. I loved the storyline and couldn’t fault it in any way. It was engaging, fast-paced and I finished the book within 24 hours because I found it difficult to stop reading. I found myself completely absorbed in the story and transported to The Younglings world and I just wanted to know what would happen next. The story was intense at times and it really did have me on the edge of my seat because I didn’t know what was going to happen next and I was worried about the fate of the characters. As well as dealing with new threats The Younglings are still helping spirits to pass over as well as dealing with Fae and a Demigod. But there is a bigger picture and bigger threat to The Younglings and if this threat succeeds in their plans to target one Youngling in particular it will fracture the group and break them.
All of the characters have grown significantly, but the biggest growth can be seen in Quinn’s character. In the first book Quinn is still grappling with who he is.
In this book he is confident, has embraced his half demon side and he wants to ensure that supernatural beings don’t affect the human world. We also see more of Quinn’s demon side in this book. Quinn and Eve are completely and utterly in love and besotted with each other but someone doesn’t want them to be happy.
I can't praise this series enough because it's one that never runs out of steam. In every book The Younglings face a new challenge that is different to one they have faced before. This keeps the series fresh and engaging. For me as a reader each book was a new adventure. The storyline was sad in parts and when I finished reading the book I was a little bit teary because I knew it was time to say goodbye to a group of characters I have become attached to and who I have nicknamed The Spooky Scooby Gang. I would highly recommend this series to anyone who loves fantasy and to get the best out of the books I would recommend that they are read in order.
If you love all things fantasy then this is a series not to be missed.
First I must say these books can be read standalone but they are best when read together !!
The chapters aren’t too long and they can be read easily/quickly and they alternate between characters meaning you completely speed through the book.
There are characters you will love and some you will hate, all of them are needed for the story though!
You are tied in from the end of the first chapter as you continually think ‘I must know what happens next’
I am very sad this is over and hoping for maybe just one more book that sees the group again in the future.

This is the last book in the youngling series and it doesn't disappoint. This is an absolutely brilliant YA fantasy series, and this book was a fantastic yet heartbreaking ending to the series.
Continuing the journey of our favourite youngling crew as they face more supernatural beings, complete college, and continue to navigate their friendships and relationships. All the characters are brilliant with unique personalities and different supernatural powers, and you can't help but root for them all. The book is filled with action, keeping you drawn in until the very end. There are lots of ups and downs, and the story takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions, so be prepared.
The story is very well written and makes you feel part of the crew. A beautiful world has been created that contains vampires, werewolves, angels, demons, and anything else you can think of. It's filled with families, friendships, love, grief, and so much more. This is a perfect story for young adults, bringing together normal teenage lives and their supernatural ones on the side. Even though it is aimed at young adults, this book and series is perfect for all ages to enjoy.
Pick up this series, dive in, and enjoy the world that has been created. You will find yourself lost amongst the younglings and enjoying their adventures with them. I'm really sad to see this series end, but I'm so glad to have been part of it.

I can’t believe we’ve come to the end of the readalong, I’ve absolutely loved reading this story again even though I read and reviewed earlier in the year and answering the questions provided by @lovebookstours. I thought it was even better second time around.
RATING ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I’ve really enjoyed reading the latest instalment of the series. The story was fast paced and really well written. The story was really easy to follow even with multiple storylines. I love the dynamic of the group and that they’re all growing into their powers especially Quinn and Millie. Despite the good or bad they’re all there for each other. I particularly liked the time hop back to 1612 and personally I thought that Quinn’s uncle Lucifer stole the show with the parts that he was in. I’m really looking forward to the next part of their story. Overall a great YA fantasy story with a lot of bite.

The Youngling Mayhem & Magic is the third instalment in this paranormal fantasy series for young adults, is an absolute addiction just like its predecessors.
Quinn Carter and his close-knit group of friends, who are more like family, find themselves facing a whole new level of nightmares and chaos. Their days are turned upside down while their nights are plagued with unsettling dreams, especially for Quinn, who happens to be a half-demon. Oh, and let's not forget the added element of time travel that spices things up.
I particularly enjoy how each book in the series connects back to the previous ones. Characters that made your skin crawl and unresolved situations make a reappearance. When I discovered a certain witch resurfacing in book three (no spoilers, I promise!), I couldn't help but internally groan. If trouble had a name in The Younglings world, it would undoubtedly be Joanna. She's the kind of character who instantly sends chills down your spine with her deceptively sweet smile. But of course, the author wouldn't let Quinn's nemesis vanish into thin air. I simply adore how she has crafted Joanna's character. The way she skillfully plays with the reader's emotions and sense of impending danger is truly remarkable. I found myself torn between hoping she would be taken down to the demon realm or continue wreaking havoc in evermore creative ways.
But witches aren't the only source of trouble for our eclectic group of teenagers. There's also a mysterious stranger in town, one who brings not just trouble but complete and utter destruction, laced with a twisted desire for revenge. Now, isn't that just the perfect icing on the cake?
This book is an embodiment of perfection, and I can guarantee that once you delve into this series, you will join the vast community of readers who are absolutely enthralled by the world Helena has crafted and the extraordinary heroes who strive to uphold goodness in every possible way.
